I went to Kmart the other day and what I saw was the saddest thing I've ever seen in a long time.
A big, empty spot where my dear friend, Mr. Photobooth, used to be.
I really feel like I've lost a close friend! So many good times we shared together! Gone.
If any of you, out in the blog world, know where he could be or if you've seen him, please let me know. Or if you happen to find his brother or cousin, that would work too.
I just can't believe he's gone. It doesn't seem real. It really makes me think about how short my life is and how I really need to make the most of it.
Farewell my friend. I hope you're in a better place. Maybe a Walgreens or Vegas. Somewhere where, the children run free with never-ending quarters in their pockets. We will never forget you.
* to better days. spring 2007.
Fat Cats in Provo has a photo booth :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely share your sentiment. Classic photobooths are a favorite pastime for Jonny and me too. Those new, lame ones that just print out the cheesy pictures on a sheet of paper are nothing in comparison to the long, skinny strip.
ReplyDeletethat is a dang good picture of you guys!!!
ReplyDeletehahah so funny...
ReplyDeleteoh that is so sad!!!
ReplyDeleteThe mall had one last month, maybe its the same Mr. Photobooth? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a touching tribute Savannah. Thanks for sharing your grief with us.
