Happy 3 Kings DaY!
This holiday is just one more excuse to get & give gifts and start some new traditions! It's actually celebrated January 6th in commemoration of the end of the Twelve DAys of Christmas and the journey of the 3 wise Men to find the baby Jesus.
We decided to keep it simple this year, we celebrated at El Sol, because it was the closest thing to Spanish cuisine I could find :) Next year I'll have be more culturally accurate and make a Spanish 3 kings Day CAke or something but this year it'll have to be burritos and good ol' MExican American instead.
We Ate & We Gave

ReplyDeleteso glad you have a blog! Thanks for commenting on ours so we could find you guys.
ReplyDeleteOur 3 kings day usually includes buying a real spanish cake with the little toys inside from a Mexican bakery there. (Ask Braden about it if he hasn't told you that tradition yet. This year was too busy to celebrate (hence our move) but I did get a present. I think Ladd looks forward to 3KD more than Christmas! :)
We miss you neighbors!
