Our First Jazz Game (together!)

Guess where we got to go?
First time to see the Utah Jazz play as a married couple! It was pretty boring! But we made it fun.
By taking picture after picture . . . which was more fun for me I'm sure.

You at the Jazz, getting sick of my picture snapping. He looks so cute when he's annoyed :)

We needed some treats! Hmmm, let's see what we ended up with . . .
Girl ( not me ) with grrross plastic flavored ice balls posing as ice cream- I didn't even know this stuff was still around or sold anywhere besides 7 Peaks.

I liked! Yummy, expensive, healthy, lemon-flavored Gurt!
He no like! Poor Braden and his water flavored ice cream, he thought he was getting the good stuff, total bummer!

We look so thrilled to be here. Actually it really was a good night - good food, good company, good game (not great), good seats, and a good hubby. Plus we got it all for free because Braden is so great at his job :) Go Wells Fargo-Albertson's Team!

Homemade Sushi Night!

Sushi night with the Kofoeds was delicious and entertaining! We actually got to make our own sushi rolls and they turned out awesome! We highly recommend the Sushezi- making sushi has never been easier! Seriously, making it myself made it so much tastier! We loved the thing so much we bought one from Ben and may even get another!

Look at how sush-easy that is!

We have never enjoyed making sushi so much, hence our facial expressions.

Look how perfect they turned out, if we can do it anyone can!

(This picture really gives away my winter pastiness but I'll just have to get over it I guess.)

THANKS KOFOEDS!!

Saturdays & Sundays with Maya

Our weekand was spent kickin' back, enjoying the changing season and just being. Maya was the main focus, our main concern, our only worry this weekand, and we found she is just so easy to please!

Flying free, just us 3
I'd like to thank my husband for being such a great sport- he's slowly coming to the realization that snapping pictures at every turn is not so much a phase as it is an obsession! PHoto opp! MAYa was to afraid to move on this bridge and I made sure to take full advantage of it. :)
We've had such gorgeous days in Logan recently, I couldn't let them go to waste. These are days when I'm especially grateful to have Maya whose always up to mosey around with us.

b-E-a-utiful dAy!!

I wish everyday could be like last weekand. mmmm.

It's Three Kings Day! (Tomorrow)

Happy 3 Kings DaY!
This holiday is just one more excuse to get & give gifts and start some new traditions!
It's actual
ly celebrated January 6th in commemoration of the end of the Twelve DAys of Christmas and the journey of the 3 wise Men to find the baby Jesus.

We decided to keep it simple this year, we celebrated at El Sol, because it was the closest thing to Spanish cuisine I could find :) Next year I'll have be more culturally accurate and make a Spanish 3 kings Day CAke or something but this year it'll have to be burritos and good ol' MExican American instead.

We Ate & We Gave

and we had FUN!!!

CAn You Tell what we Were Trying to say here? It was My sad attempt At a loW Budget chRistmas GreeTing. Obviously It looked DifferentLy in my Mind, but I actually like how ridiculous they turned Out! :)

First Picture of 2009!

Check it out! Our first picture in the new year! Yea, it's a keeper.

Happy 2009!!!

I love my nieces to pieces!!!

(Why do those two words look so weird?)

But Mackenly took these (they aren't too flattering but it was pretty cute and these pictures help me remember)

No one seems to be a fan of the blurred pictures but I like them! Not all the time- but the scrobe-like look make it seem like we're at some hot night club :) So you get the look while being in the comfort of your own home- or something. Honestly I'm still learning how to work the dang thing.
Kambria took this one. Thanks Bria!

A blast from the past with Napolean Dynamite was a highlight, this is the classic chicken coop scene, love it!
New Years was a party at the Merrill's as always. The boys had to bust out the new sports Wii game, I regret not playing now but I did get to play the . . . .

Ever popular grapefruit between your legs game!
This game takes a lot of skill, don't be fooled.

It's not really as awkward has it looks, its worse :)

And what' s a Merrill get together without cheerleaders?
Go Grizz!
